you asked...

Can we manage subcontractors and external users separately from internal staff?

Yes. OpusFlow lets you create distinct user profiles with separate permission sets for internal team members, subcontractors, and any other user type you need. Subcontractors can be given access to only the specific modules and records relevant to their work, with no visibility into financial data, other clients, or internal processes. Access can be time-limited and revoked immediately when a project ends.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below are the answers to the questions we are most frequently asked about the OpusFlow software solution. Is your question not among them? Feel free to contact support.

Is a ticket linked to the original installation project?

Yes. Every ticket is linked directly to the parent project in OpusFlow, which means the moment a service request comes in, the person handling it has immediate access to the original Bill of Materials, installation photos, engineering models, and the full project history. There is no need to search through archives or ask a colleague — the context is already there.

Can I define different teams and schedule them on projects?

Yes! You can easily put together teams in OpusFlow and schedule them directly on projects, all from within the planning module.

Can customers see photos from their installation in the Customer Portal?

Yes. Field-captured photos linked to the project are displayed in a gallery within the portal, including installation progress images and final commissioning shots. It’s a straightforward way to keep customers informed and build confidence in the quality of the work being done.

Is the heat loss calculation certified to a recognised standard?

Yes. The calculation follows the DIN EN 12831-1:2017 methodology, which is the recognised European standard for determining building heating load. It covers per-room heat loss including U-values, thermal bridges, ventilation, airtightness, and surface adjacency. The output is a DIN-compliant PDF report that includes a per-room breakdown, total heat demand, and the final hardware recommendation — suitable for use as supporting documentation with the customer or for your own internal records.

Can we categorise and prioritise tickets?

Yes. Ticket types are fully configurable, so you can set up categories that match how your business handles after-sales — for example Warranty, Maintenance, or Complaint. Each ticket also carries a priority level, so your team always has a clear view of what needs attention first and can filter and manage the queue accordingly.

What is OpusFlow and who is it built for?

OpusFlow is an all-in-one business management platform built specifically for solar, heatpump, battery, charging stations and other sustainable energy installation companies. It connects your sales, operations, planning, warehouse, and finance in one system so your whole team works from the same data, not separate spreadsheets messaging apps or other external apps or software.

Do I need experience in the solar or sustainable energy industry?

No. We care more about the right mindset than sector knowledge. You’ll learn the industry quickly by working with the product and the team every day. What we do look for is curiosity, ownership, and the drive to get things done.
