Changelog Late April – Early May 2026

The past two weeks deliver the biggest addition OpusFlow has shipped this year: a complete Contracts module with automated nightly billing and SEPA Direct Debit. Alongside this, Leave Management arrives natively, the Battery ROI calculator finally models real Dutch market dynamics, and dozens of smaller refinements make stock, tickets, PDFs, and project navigation faster and more reliable.

New Features

  • Contracts: Stop juggling Word docs and signed PDFs across folders. You can now create recurring or one-off service contracts inside OpusFlow, send them to customers for digital signing via the Customer Portal, and let OpusFlow auto-generate invoices and collect SEPA Direct Debit payments via Mollie every night, with no manual chasing required. Track every contract from draft through active, suspended, and terminated, all in one place. (SEPA Direct Debit is available to Eurozone customers; requires connecting a Mollie account via Management → Settings → Integrations.)
  • Leave Management & Break-Time Compliance Warnings: Native HR-grade leave tracking arrives. Your team can request leave, see balances at a glance on a dedicated overview, view pending and approved leave on the calendar, and admins get a clean approval/rejection workflow. Hour registrations now surface break-requirement warnings up front, so compliance issues don't show up at month-end.
  • Email Template Hover Previews: Stop opening every template just to remember what's inside. Hover any row in the templates list and a sandboxed live preview appears, fetched on demand. Picking the right template takes a single glance.
  • Stock Mutation v3: Adjusting inventory has been fully redesigned. The new multi-step flow walks you through type, location, and review screens, the mobile-first line editor supports barcode scanning and bulk approve/reject, and there's a dedicated UI for stock-check verification workflows. Available in 11 languages.
  • iCalendar Invites in SendMail: Booking a meeting with a customer is now one tool, not two. SendMail actions can attach a real .ics calendar invite tied to a planning entry, dropping straight into the recipient's Outlook, Google, or Apple Calendar with the right attendees and time.
  • Ticket Type Editing + Bulk Update: Picked the wrong ticket type at creation? You can now edit the type on an existing ticket. The status field updates to match the new type's allowed statuses. You can also bulk update type and status together across multiple tickets in one action.
  • Lazy-Loaded Project Tabs with Live Count Badges: Heavy project pages now load only the tab you're looking at, and each tab carries a live badge showing real-time counts (children, contacts, emails, mutations, notes, documents, tickets, installation plans, forms, planning, contracts). You see at a glance where the work is, and the page opens noticeably faster.
  • Battery ROI: Realistic Phase 1 + 2: For sales reps quoting batteries to Dutch customers. The ROI calculator now models the real Dutch economics: configurable terugleverkosten (flat or tiered, with Vattenfall, Essent, Eneco, and Greenchoice 2024 presets), the salderingsregeling phase-out cliff, smart-dispatch arbitrage, and decoupled inflation per energy stream (buy / feed-in / spot). All levers are opt-in and default off, so existing quotes keep their previous numbers until a consultant or admin enables them.

Bug Fixes

  • PV Designer No Longer Freezes: A long-running freeze when working with map graphics on installation-plan components has been resolved by optimising how the layout data is handled and serialised. The designer stays responsive on large, complex roof layouts.
  • PDF Template Variables Paste Anywhere: Variables from the Core Variables tree in the PDF template editor now paste correctly into Notepad, plain text fields, VS Code, chat inputs, and other non-Word targets, not just into Word. Word paste behaviour is unchanged.
  • Schletter Mounting: Strength Verification & Flat-Roof Fixes: For installers using Schletter substructures. Schletter now runs an automatic per-solar-group strength verification (debounced, with status icons and BOM warnings), enforces all panels in the same direction, and correctly places dilatation sub-areas on flat roofs regardless of map rotation. The generic roofHeight: 4 default has been removed, so you'll always enter (or have BAG auto-fill) a real roof height.
  • Stock Rows With Same Article Stay Distinct: Rows with the same article but different price-per-unit values are now treated as separate rows. Your stock list stays accurate when the same item exists at multiple prices.
  • Upload-Table Validation Fires Reliably: Form validation now runs as expected when uploading CSVs or changing field types in upload tables, catching malformed data before it reaches your records.

Improvements

  • More Reliable PDF Generation: PDF templates that referenced nested JSONB fields (e.g. ROI variables, custom category data) could fail to render and force a retry. Templates now resolve those fields correctly the first time, in both the Word and HTML/Nunjucks pipelines, so quotes and invoices reach your customers without hiccups.
  • Modern Ticket Datagrid Everywhere: Tickets shown inside ticket cards, the planning calendar, and the ticket widget now are matching the look, filters, and density of the main tickets view. Consistent behaviour across the app.
  • Cleaner Subprojects Panel: The subprojects datagrid embedded inside a parent project no longer offers preset selection, keeping the in-project view focused and consistent. Presets remain available on the main projects list.
  • Billing Run Resilience: The nightly billing run now retries on cold-start hiccups and uses per-request timeouts, with sharper error categorisation between temporary and permanent failures. The first invoice run of the day no longer occasionally stalls.

Why it matters

Less admin, more revenue. Contracts and Leave Management eliminate two entire workflows that used to live outside OpusFlow, in Word docs, spreadsheets, or separate HR tools. Now your team handles both without leaving the platform, and the nightly billing run means invoices go out while you sleep.

Faster quoting, smarter selling. The Battery ROI calculator finally speaks the language of Dutch energy economics: salderingsregeling phase-out, tiered feed-in tariffs, real supplier presets. Your sales reps can present credible, defensible numbers instead of back-of-envelope estimates.

Less waiting, fewer clicks. Lazy-loaded project tabs, email template previews, and the redesigned stock mutation flow all point the same direction: get to the information you need in one glance, not three clicks. Project pages open faster, the right template is obvious on hover, and stock adjustments follow a guided flow instead of a freeform form.

Rock-solid foundations. The PV Designer freeze, PDF rendering failures, and billing cold-start stalls are gone. These weren't flashy fixes. They were the kind of issues that erode trust one retry at a time. That stops here.
