About the role

As our AI Engineer, you’ll bring intelligence into every corner of our platform. You’ll design and implement data architectures, build scalable AI pipelines, and experiment with LLMs to unlock smarter workflows for our users. From automating repetitive tasks to enabling predictive insights, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our ERP platform. You will work closely with our Product Owner and development team, and report directly to our CTO.
  • Design, implement, and maintain AI pipelines and data architectures
  • Apply and fine-tune LLMs to real-world SaaS use cases
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and CTO to define and deliver AI features
  • Build scalable data ingestion, storage, and processing solutions
  • Ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance in all AI applications
  • Experiment with emerging AI tools and frameworks to keep us ahead of the curve
  • Translate business needs into technical AI solutions that deliver user value

Key Responsabilities

What we offer

  • €4,500–€7,000/month (full-time)
  • Work 32–40 hours/week
  • Hybrid setup: 2+ days/week at our Deventer HQ
  • 25 vacation days (based on full-time)
  • 1-year contract with view to permanent

  • 3–5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data engineering
  • Strong background in Python and experience with ML/AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace)
  • Knowledge of LLM architectures, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering
  • Experience with data pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and scalable architectures
  • Understanding of MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring best practices
  • Excellent communication skills in English (bonus: Dutch, German, or Spanish)
  • You’re pragmatic, curious, and eager to solve real user problems with AI
