About the role

As our Senior Developer, you will be given significant responsibility and ownership from day one. You are the technical expert on all things and the right hand of our CTO, Joey. You will not only work on complex new features but also act as a sparring partner for the product team and a mentor for your fellow developers. Your mission is to elevate the quality, scalability, and performance of our codebase to the next level.
  • Develop and implement complex, high-quality features using React, Typescript, NodeJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Design and safeguard our long-term architecture.
  • Proactively contribute to the product roadmap and technical feasibility discussions.
  • Coach and mentor junior and medior developers through pair programming and code reviews.
  • Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Raise the bar for code quality, testing, and development best practices.

Key Responsabilities

What we offer

  • An excellent annual salary between €80,000 and €120,000, depending on your experience (this translates to a monthly gross salary of approx. €6,667 – €10,000, including holiday pay).

  • A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-stack Developer, with a strong focus on React and NodeJS.
  • In-depth knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing scalable, serverless, architectures.
  • Experience with coaching and mentoring other developers is a major must.
  • You are ‘product-minded’: you think beyond the technical ticket and consider the user’s perspective.
  • Fluency in English.
